Allowing Cookies for the Booking Calendar
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can ask your Internet Browser to save, to allow more complex functionality within that website. For example, our Booking Calendar uses Cookies to remember who you are when you login.
Some corporate environments limit which websites can store cookies, sometimes for good reason but sometimes for no good reason at all.
If you find yourself being logged out of the calendar after viewing the Welcome screen, then you need to enable cookies for our website.
Step One - Which Browser am I using?
We need to find out which Internet Browser you are using, which only takes a minute.
Click "Help" at the top of your Browser Window, and click "About ..." which may say "About Internet Explorer" or "About Mozilla Firefox". The screen that pops up will show you which browser you are using, and which version. Please make a note of this. (NOTE: Only the major version matters, so if it says Internet Explorer Version 7.03403484 then we refer to it as Internet Explorer 7.
Step 2 - Choose which Browser you are using
Internet Explorer Version 7 (Seven)
Internet Explorer Version 6 (Six)
Mozilla Firefox Version 3 (Three)
Internet Explorer Version 7
Open Internet Explorer
Click "Tools" near the top left, then click "Internet Options" from the options presented
From the Tabs at the top, click "Privacy"
Click the "Sites" button
In the "Address of website:" box, type inventoryclerk.org and click the "Allow" button
Click "OK", then "Apply" and/or "OK"
You can now login to the calendar
Internet Explorer Version 6
Click "Tools" near the top left, then click "Internet Options" from the options presented
From the Tabs at the top, click "Privacy"
Under the "Websites" Section, click the "Edit..." button
In the "Address of website:" box, type inventoryclerk.org and click the "Allow" button
Click "OK", then "Apply" and/or "OK"
You can now login to the calendar
Mozilla Firefox Version 3
Click "Tools" near the top left, then click "Options" from the options presented
From the choices at the top, click "Privacy"
Under the "Cookies" Section, click the "Exceptions" button
In the "Address of web site:" box, type inventoryclerk.org and click the "Close" button
Click "OK"
You can now login to the calendar
